A change in your diet that could make all the difference.
(P.S. I created a podcast on this exact topic, and you can scroll to the bottom of this post and listen instead of reading, if that’s your thing. Enjoy.)
After finally completing the Ultimate Reset, I came to realize something that I thought I would never be able to go without, was something that was actually holding me back. I want to pass something on that may be helpful for everyone.
Before getting involved, I had never thought about giving up red meat, chicken, dairy and grains. Not once. I thought everybody who gave them up were just crazy. How could I do without all those great tasting meals?
Let me tell you this, I have been eating cleaner that I’ve ever eaten this last 2 1/2 weeks. I can tell you my energy level isn’t as high as I’d like because you are held to 3 meals and a snack each day. However, my stomach feels better than it has ever felt. Not only that, but I’ve learned how to create some pretty tasty non-beef meals.
I remember trying to workout with what felt like a rock in my stomach, yet I didn’t know what it was. My wife has had the same stomach issues since I met her over 13 years ago. IBS, PCOS, and about 10 other acronyms. She’s feeling amazing now as well, no issues with her stomach… so this can’t be a fluke.
What am I trying to say? If doing the Ultimate Reset isn’t in the cards for you right now, you should at least give the removal of meat, dairy and grains a try. Do it for a short period and see how you feel. So many of us have intolerance’s that we don’t even know about. You think it’s for other reasons, but you may find out you have a wheat intolerance and can now live the rest of your life without stomach issues.
If the Ultimate Reset IS in the cards for you, I know you will benefit just like we have. This has taught us so much, we’ve completely changed our eating habits forever. I’d love to help you along the 21 days.
No, we aren’t going to give up chicken, occasional dairy and grains. I’m not saying that by any means… but we will be very selective of when we do eat them. Definitely not before a workout, that’s for sure. We are going to give up red meat, without a doubt.
