This is going to be a short post, but it’s going to be an important and powerful one.

We need to stop focusing on our problems being diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol etc. We need to start focusing on the real problems, obesity… and what we need to do to overcome this.

(P.S. I included this information in a podcast I recently recorded in case you’d rather listen. Check it out at the bottom of this post.)

Tell me this. How many of your are reading this on your phone or looking at it through your computer, and you’ve had parents who have had some version of illness because they were over weight or unhealthy? You can put your hands down, because I’m pretty sure everyone can.

We realize that this is a problem, and it’s only getting worse. If you think your parents had it bad, now with the invention of all these artificial color/sweeteners/ingredients, you’ve got it far worse. Here’s the thing… there’s something that YOU can do.

This is a talk about prescription vs prevention. The doctor isn’t going to be able to solve our problems with a pill, all they are doing is trying to prolong an already shortened life.

You’re better than that, and It doesn’t matter how out of shape you are… you can still make this change.

You already know how to prevent it, but let me break it down for you.

(1) Exercise 6 days a week. Do something that’s out of your comfort zone and gets your heart rate up.

(2) Put wholesome, natural foods in your mouth. Get all the canned, pre-made foods out of your house.

(3) Supplement your body when you can’t hit your goals.

(4) Get enough sleep, 7-8 hours minimum a day.

There you have it. Blunt, but true. Thanks for reading, and stay safe out there team!
